Background
VIF International Films was an German film and television company that finances movies and shows such as Ozzie, Kids World and MythQuest. The company became dormant in the early 2010s when was possibly forced into bankruptcy by a group of creditors by the Aramid Entertainment Film Investment Fund (now Orange Holdings LLC).
1st Logo (June 2000-2001)
Visuals: There is a rotating grayscale Earth. An aqua-green band fades in and compresses into a fancy-shaped ViF. The word "Filmproduktion" appears below.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A whoosh sound followed by an orchestral soundtrack.
Availability: Seen on Kids World, The Unscarred and Deeply.
2nd Logo (August 25-November 17, 2001)
Visuals: On a black background there is the text "Vif International Films", while to its left, a circle with 2 searchlights. A line appears below the entire logo.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: The ending theme of the show.
Availability: Seen on 2001 PBS airings of MythQuest, followed by the Mind's Eye International, WNET and PBS logos. Even though MythQuest reran on VisionTV, it doesn't have the WNET and PBS logos.
3rd Logo (2001-2002)
Visuals: On a cobalt background, there is a searchlight beaming around from the upper left corner. Then the picture zooms out into the circle, and the light flips vertically, then rotating again to the normal position and casting a reflection from the bottom of the circle. There are other circles with letters "i" and "F". The name reads "Vif International Films" and the whole logo is underlined.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: Windy sound with single "flip", followed by the orchestral soundtrack from the first logo.
Availability: Seen on Love the Hard Way and Vector File.
4th Logo (December 5, 2003)
Visuals: Same action as before is played, but the background name is much representing blue. Also, the spheres look improved with 3D effect, placed closer to each other and the letters inside changed their design.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: Same as the previous logo.
Availability: Seen on Where Eskimos Lives.
5th Logo (September 20, 2006)
Visuals: Print version of the first VIF circle appears on the white background, where the name reads:
GmbH & Co. Dritte KG
Technique: A still, digital graphic.
Audio: None.
Availability: Appeared on Ozzie.
