Background

This is Don Johnson's production company.

1st Logo (January 5, 1993)

Visuals: On a granite background, a crimson red filmstrip scrolls on the bottom of the screen, shining as a gradient blue "DJ" in a very angular way zooms in slowly, casting a shadow. The text "THE DON JOHNSON COMPANY" flashes in, at first being yellow before turning blue when the flash dies down. The filmstrip keeps moving and cuts to black when the filmstrip starts to become darker.

Technique: Analog computer animation.

Audio: The closing theme of the film.

Availability: Can only be seen on In the Company of Darkness on NBC.

2nd Logo (March 29, 1996-May 4, 2001)

Visuals: On a black background, a cube is seen with 3 sides shown (a CD next to a flame bursting, Nash Bridges (Johnson) walking down the street, and multiple copies of Johnson on a moving filmstrip) and rotates around, moving to the left. It reveals another side consisting of a rusty gold plaque with the letters "DJ" engraved on it. When it starts to rest, the text "THE" and "COMPANY" fade in as "Don Johnson" in his signature appears in a series of flames. The URL "http://www.thenetshow.com" fades in below.

Variant: On later prints of the series, the URL is blacked out.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The end theme of Nash Bridges or a generic CBS theme with a voice over on original airings.

Availability: Seen on Nash Bridges on CBS.
