Background

Ventanarosa Productions (also known simply as Ventanarosa) is the production company of Salma Hayek, founded in 1999. The name comes from a Spanish language translation, meaning "rose-colored window" or "pink window." In the same year the company was founded, Ricka Fisher joined as president of the studio. In 2018, the company signed a first-look deal with Lionsgate, and later with a two-year deal at HBO Max in June 2020.

Logo (October 21, 2001-)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a tiny magenta square. Then, it opens to a milky way video in space, as the word "VENTANAROSA" fades in below.

Variants:

  • A still version exists with just the square.
  • On Santa Evita, another animated version is used where we open to the milky way inside a box as the logo fades in.
  • It sometimes shares the screen with other logos.
  • An in-credit variant exists.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The ending theme of the TV movie or TV show.

Availability: It's seen on Ugly Betty. It also appeared on the TV movie In the Time of the Butterflies, and the series Monarca and Santa Evita.
