Logo (April 29, 1991-1997)

Visuals: Against a black background, three retro racecars drive into the screen. From left to right, the vehicles are coloured red, green, and blue. The named colours happen to be the company name positioned underneath the three racecars where it is grouped alongside a co-producer's name (e.g. BBC Television).

Variants:

  • Sometimes, the logo shares the screen with other logos.
  • On Colonizing Cyberspace, after the Windfall Films logo appears, the images sourced from both logos smoothly zoom out before the bottom text come into sight.
  • On Destination Mars, the animation is slower.
  • On The Mousehole Cat, the cars have an animated appearance.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: It appeared on a few Horizon documentaries such as Colonizing Cyberspace and The Truth About Sex as well as The Mousehole Cat and their last programme, Destination Mars. All but one of their productions have been long gone from television. However, their co-producer for The Mousehole Cat, Grasshopper Productions, releases said film on home media and on-demand and preserve this logo at the end.
