1st (and only) Logo (Mid 1980's-Early 1990's)

Logo: On a shady pine green background with a faded grid on it, we see a green outline of the state of Kentucky with a lettuce green/silver/red drawing of a shiny building over it. "KENTUCKY CENTER" in a white serif font flips up from below and settles under the Kentucky outline. The entire logo seems to glitter and shine twinkling multiple times in once.

FX/SFX: The twinkling and flipping of the logo.

Music/Sounds: A triumphant 6-note synthesizer fanfare accompanied by some weird Moog synth bass line playing in the background.

Availability: Scarce. Seen on some educational PBS programs produced by Kentucky Educational Television. Two of the KETV logos replete with the synthesized xylophone jingle may proceed this.

Editor's Note: None.
