(Mid 1980's-Early 1990's)

Logo: On a shady pine green background with a faded grid on it, we see a green outline of the state of Kentucky with a lettuce green/silver/red drawing of the Kentucky Center for the Arts building over it. "KENTUCKY CENTER" in a white serif font flips up from below and settles under the Kentucky outline, flashing as it does. The text then flashes as the Kentucky outline shines from left to right, pings appearing over it periodically, and "presents" dissolves in on the lower right of the logo. The entire then then dissolves into dust.

Technique: The twinkling and flipping of the logo. Simple 2D computer effects.

Music/Sounds: A triumphant 6-note synthesizer fanfare accompanied by some weird Moog synth bass line playing in the background. Sometimes, a deep-sounding man says "This program is a product of the partnership between the Kentucky Center of the Arts and KET, The Kentucky Network."

Availability: Scarce. Seen on some educational PBS programs produced by Kentucky Educational Television. Two of the KET logos replete with the synthesized xylophone jingle may proceed this.
