Background

Russian Cinema Council, usually abbreviated RUSCICO, is a company operating since 1999. It mainly publishes Russian films outside the former USSR territory. Their catalog is identical to the one of Krupny Plan, which distributes old films over Russian territory instead. Somewhere in mid-2010s, their activity has been slowly dropping, however, the company still exists, with their website still being active.

Logo (2000-)

Visuals: On a gradient blue background, many letters are drawn in white, zooming out in the process. Then, the letters fill themselves in with white and form three lines saying "RUSSIAN CINEMA COUNCIL". After the lines are done, the roof of the temple appears zooms out, having "RUSCICO" inside separated by dots. The base also appears, reading "MCMXCIX" (1999 in regular numbers). The logo then blurs and dissolves.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: Two dramatic orchestral melodies (which are "Dark Action (A)"/"Suspense 2 - Pyramid" and "Action Fanfare (A)"/"Full Orch FX 1 - Tutti" by Dick De Benedictis from the Sonoton Music library and the Symphonic Adventures CD) going from one to another accompanied by various synth sounds.

Availability: Should appear on foreign export DVDs and Blu-rays from Russia. Seen on most RUSCICO DVDs.
