Background

Njutafilms is one of the leading Swedish distribution companies dealing in art house theatricals, but also genre, alternative, cult, experimental and classics for home entertainment for the Scandinavian market.

1st Logo (2010-2016)

Visuals: The logo starts with a white screen, which cuts to a flickering footage of a person running from the police through the streets of Stockholm. The color of the footage changes every time it appears, and the person stops to make the car pass. He soon runs up to a cafe with a logo on it (a black rectangle with the company name in red and a white line below), while the screen pulses. The company name shines and the footage turns darker and shatters, revealing a bullet zooming to the camera.

Technique: Live-action and CGI.

Audio: A sound of the film projector turning on, followed by a person panting and running with various screams and gunshots in the background. A police siren is heard, followed by a car horn with tires screeching. When the person runs up to a cafe, a stock harp glissando is heard, followed by a sound of a glass shattering and a faint whoosh.

Availability: Seen on Njutafilms' DVD and theatrical releases, such as What We Do in the Shadows.

2nd Logo (2016)

Visuals: On a black background, a red-dish company name with a red outline zooms out and shines. A light occurs, coloring the logo in red, and the logo faces the top, soon shining with sparks occuring. A Swedish warning screen then fades and stretches in letter by letter.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A dramatic droning synth tune.

Availability: Seen on Njutafilms' DVD and theatrical releases, such as Love.
