Background

In 2010, Granada Ventures renamed ITV DVD as ITV Studios Home Entertainment.

Logo (2010-2013)

Visuals: Same as the 2009 ITV Studios logo, but with the words "Home Entertainment" below the words "itv STUDIOS".

Variant: On some releases, the 2009 ITV Studios Global Entertainment logo is used.

Technique: Same as the 2009 ITV Studios logo.

Audio: A very weird synth score with underwater sounds.

Availability: Appears on ITV Studios releases from the time-period until 2013. Examples include Road Warriors in Afghanistan and the Coronation Street Golden Anniversary Edition.

  • It also plasters older logos on re-releases of previous DVD releases, eg, the remastered version of Jeeves and Wooster: The Complete Collection and the 2010 release of An Audience with Ken Dodd.
  • This logo is seen on many direct-to-video specials of existing ITV shows, including Harry Hill's TV Burp Gold Volume 3, Coronation Street: A Knight's Tale, Emmerdale: Paddy and Marlon's Big Night In, Come Dine With Me: The Tasty Bits (albeit being a Channel 4 series) and Loose Women in New York.
  • It is also seen on several Hallmark television movies, such as The Most Wonderful Time of the Year and A Dog Named Christmas.
  • It can also be found on several non-ITV releases, such as Iron Man: Armored Adventures - Volume 2 and Small Island.
  • Some DVD and Blu-ray releases use the ITV Studios Global Entertainment logo instead of this one, examples being Christmas with the Loose Women, Come Dine With Me: Extra Spicy and Harry Hill's TV Burp: The Best Bits, the reauthored re-releases of disc 2-6 of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, and the 2011 reauthorised version of 2003 UK DVD release of George & Mildred: The Movie.
  • It can also be found on some promotional releases, such as Carry On Up the Jungle.
  • It is also preserved on releases of ITV material that were released under license by Revelation Films, such as all four seasons of The Raggy Dolls and Tickle on the Tum: The Complete Series One.

Final Note

In January 2013, in the wake of ITV's rebranding, the division was renamed ITV Ventures Limited, and the Granada Ventures and ITV Studios Home Entertainment brandings were retired. All of ITV's home media releases from then on were released under the ITV Studios Global Entertainment name, and later simply ITV Studios.
