1st Logo (early 1980s)


Visuals: The letters "f" and "i" zoom out from the sides, fuse together and turn magenta. A white caption "FILMS INTERNATIONAL" fades in and both zoom out to reveal "A MEMBER OF THE CARRAUN GROUP" and its business address.

Trivia: 82 High Holborn is part of Templar House (Street View), a commercial office building that is currently disused (as of November 2020), and presumably awaiting redevelopment.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A horn-driven fanfare.

2nd Logo (early 1980s)

Logo starts at timestamp 0:10

Visuals: On a purple background, the letter "f" and an eye swivel into view and two boxes are drawn around each of them. The caption "FILMS INTERNATIONAL" fades in and both zoom out as the business address and caption "A MEMBER OF THE CARRAUN GROUP" also zoom into view.
