1st Logo (Early 1980s)

Visuals: On a black background, a chunky, rectangular "F" flies in from the left, while a small "i" with a dot as large as its base, flies in from the right, and both lay overtop of each other. The entire thing then fades to a hot pink colour, with the "i" only becoming an outline, and then "FILMS INTERNATIONAL" fades in below in a rounded sans-serif font. The logo then zooms back as a byline for the Carraun Group and its address below, in all of the same font, fly up from the bottom of the screen.

Trivia: 82 High Holborn is part of Templar House (Street View), a commercial office building that is currently disused (as of November 2020), and presumably awaiting redevelopment.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A horn-driven fanfare ("The Sound of Success" by Brian Bennett).

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]

2nd Logo (Early-Mid 1980s)

Logo starts at timestamp 0:10

Visuals: On a indigo background, an abstract serif "F" and a drawing of an eye (likely an pun on an "I") flip in from the left and right sides of the screen with a trail effect, settling right next to each other. 2 thick white square outlines draw around the drawings, mirrored from each other, as a white ring draws inside of the eye. The logo then zooms out to the top of the screen as "FILMS INTERNATIONAL" fades in below it, and then the address from before flies up, followed by the byline, now in a Helvetica font.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]
