Background
Best Seller Entertainment (formerly Best Seller Video Home S.A. from 1990 to 1998) was founded on November 27, 1990 by Sergio Alejandro Maranon, Edgardo Natalio Di Tomas, Alberto Jorge Di Tomas and Carlos Ramon Urraco, and decided to release B-movie material, such as Libra Pictures, Image Organization, Imperial Entertainment and Cinepix Film Properties. It was closed in 2005.
1st Logo (1991-1998)
Visuals: On a black-gray gradient background, there are two outlined circles in black. Two more blue outlined circles draw in, as well as an outline of the wireframes blue and white rectangles. Two curves draw in, resembling a videotape. The videotape shrinks, and then the area disappears, turning it into a square. The stylized blue words "B" and "S" appear within the rectangle, rotate in from the left and right, and absorb the square into it. The "BS" shines, and the words "BEST" and "SELLER" fade in letter by letter above and below the logo.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: A triumphant fanfare, with robotic noises when the tape draws, and some drum beats.
Availability: Seen on early Best Seller releases from the era. [Examples?]
2nd Logo (1998-2005)
Visuals: On a blue/black moving background, there is a blue-white gradient rotating sphere with some holes, zooming in. A light moves from the sphere, which it glows, and the glowing sphere reveals the word "BEST SELLER", in a blue-white gradient Bauhaus 93 font, which wipes in from the light. Another light reveals the word "entertainment", in the same Bauhaus 93 font, which wipes in from the light. The globe stops, and then the background turns solid blue, and the logo glows and flashes to white.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: A drum theme, with some synth notes and a harp theme, with some robotic noises, ending with a drone.
Availability: Seen on later Best Seller Entertainment releases from the era. [Examples?]
