1st Logo (Early 1980s)


Visuals: On a white background, there's a box consisting of a letter "a" formed out of white, grey and black stripes, with the title "AVATAR" underneath, and the word "COMMUNICATIONS" encased in a grey box.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]

2nd Logo (Mid-Late 1980s)


Visuals: On a black background, there are some animated white, red and blue light flares appearing briefly and fading out. Then they reappear gradually to form the letter "a". A white outlined box appears as the word "AVATAR" flashes in, in white.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A synth jingle ending with a person whispering "Avatar" as the title flashes in.

Availability: Appears on the 1987 release of Strike Commando.
