Background

Techno Film was an early 80s Italian film distributor.

Logo (April 1981-1983)


Visuals: On a red background is a white bordered rectangle with "techno film" inside it zooming from the upper-right corner as it settles to the middle, with "presenta" typing in.

Variant: There is a still variant with the rest of the logo zoomed out slightly, and "presenta" in a different font.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: None, the opening theme, or a fanfare.

Availability: Seen on many Super 8 and tape releases from Italy, the UK and Sweden (all distributed by Frekvensia Ge-Te AB). Many of their films and tapes you might find are cartoons, violent, and pornography. You may also spot many pre-cert releases distributed by Fletcher Video in the UK such as their video nasty Deep Red.
