Background

Pissanos International serves as a production and distribution company in Greece. It was set up by writer, producer, stage designer, artist and Nobel Prize nominee Paul Pissanos.

Logo (2000s)

Visuals: There is a space environment with stars scattered through it. The camera zooms out and slowly moves downwards simultaneously, and a statue of a man holding a rotating Earth globe with his index finger appears. Then it zooms out some more, as two spotlights in the bottom left and right corners of the screen, which rotate in a 90-degree angle horizontally and light up the statue, are seen. There is also the following written underneath the statue:

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: A slowed down version of a snippet from John Williams' Superman theme with some synth whooshes added.

Availability: Can be seen on low-budget cartoon DVDs carrying the Pissanos logo (as well as some reprints by The Penwest Company), as well as DVDs of Mondo TV shows and Pissanos' documentaries by Arcadia Entertainment.
