Background
Kanal D Home Video is the home entertainment subsidiary of Kanal D, a nationwide television channel launched in Turkey on September 16, 1993 and is now owned by Demirören Group. The subsidiary focuses on the home distribution of foreign and domestic films and other material on VCD and DVD format. While the founding year of this subsidiary is unknown, it is speculated to be founded around in mid-to-late 90's.
1st Logo (2000s-April 2011)
Visuals: The logo fades in to the Kanal D logo in 3D spinning across the screen with on top of a black-blue gradient. The trails of the spinning logo follow suit with circle trails going across the screen. The camera goes into the last trail which reveals the second part of the logo with the Kanal D logo on top of a black rectangle with "KANAL D" written on it under a blue box with "HOME VIDEO" written on it with a pink circle trail going around the logo. Then a swift streak of light hits the Kanal D logo and the gradient fades out.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A gated pad and two whooshes. The sound included in this logo is shortened version of the first D Productions logo, which originally had a reverb tail at the end.
Availability: Seen on older Kanal D Home Video DVDs and VCDs. [Examples?]
