Background

Concorde Home Entertainment was the home entertainment division of Concorde Filmverleih. It was formed in 1991 when TeleMuchen Group acquired local assets of Vestron Video and created Concorde Video, renamed to its current name in 1999.

1st Logo (1999-2005)

Visuals: Same as the 1997 Concorde Filmverleih logo, but this time the text is "CONCORDE" with "HOME ENTERTAINMENT" below.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the 1997 Concorde Filmverleih logo.

Availability: Only in Germany; seen on VHS releases and older DVDs such as Thomas: Die fantastische Lokomotive.

2nd Logo (2005-2013)

Visuals: The last seconds of the 2005 Concorde Filmverleih with "HOME ENTERTAINMENT" placed below "CONCORDE".

Variant: There is also a still variant.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Some dark ambient sounds.

Availability: Seen on local DVDs, UMDs and Blu-rays, for example The Hurt Locker or ...And God Created Created Woman. This was mostly preceded by TeleMunchen logo. From 2019 onwards, newer releases use the Leonine logo.
