Background

Amvest Video was a New Jersey-based video company that specialized in public domain releases. It had ties to the earlier budget record label Audiofidelity Records. Amvest went out of business around 1990.

Logo (1987?-1990?)


Visuals: In a subway tunnel against a space background, the words "AMVEST VIDEO" zoom in from the center. The tunnel also lights up when the words pass it. When it finishes zooming in, the tunnel fades out. The words then shine.

Trivia: If you look closely, you can still see some of the blue used in the chroma key process.

Technique: CGI.
