1st Logo (November 11, 1948-1953)


Visuals: Over a cloudy sky background, four chinese characters are seen that translates to the company name. In between the chinese characters, there is a Chinese pagoda, and a river is shown in front of the characters and the building.

Technique: Practical effects.

Audio: Two gong notes with deep sounds.

Availability: Seen in some films during its timespan such as 清宮秘史 (Sorrows of the Forbidden City).

2nd Logo (July 8, 1953-1960s)


Visuals: Basically a re-modified version of the first logo. The logo takes place in a morning sky environment, and the logo brightens to resemble the environment. Hills can also be seen behind the characters, two being rearranged at a different angle, and the pagoda.

Technique: Practical effects.

Audio: Same as Previous but with 3 gong notes (but only shows 2 gong notes on these videos).

Availability: It's seen on some Hong Kong films of the time as like seen in "翠翠", available on VHS/VCD releases and TVB airing prints of said film.
