Background

Screenworks is an Irish film production company.

1st Logo (May 25, 2012)

Visuals: On a dimly lit green background filled with rotating gears, "SCREEN WORKS" wipes and pops in letter by letter respectively while slightly off by half a row. The background objects disappear when the latter word starts forming. In its place, a clockwise rotating gear and an "S", with a wheel at the centre, fades in between the two words. The former slightly widens and the latter tilts to a 90 degree counterclockwise angle by the time the sequence is complete.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on Barbaric Genius.

2nd Logo (February 28, 2018-October 4, 2019)

Visuals: On a black background, a white gear, followed by a steel blue wheel, zooms out and place themselves in the center, with the latter within the former. Then, turquoise smoke forms the "S"-shaped path extending out of the wheel, followed by "SCREEN WORKS" on the upper left and lower right section within the shape of the wheel as a whole. The logo slowly zooms in and the gear continues to rotates counterclockwise before it all fades to black.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the film.

Availability: The logo is seen on While You Live, Shine and Best Before Death.
