Ragamalika Combines

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (June 1, 1984)

Visuals: Starting with an outlined sketch, a crayon drawing of a green-faced Kathakali (an Indian classical dance form) dancer with an ornate crown and halo materializes in 5 frames, adding more color until it becomes a cutout. The logo then cuts to the live-action dancer in a room with a deity painting, now in red and white garments. She slightly moves her head in rhythm to the audio. The company name appears below in green, "Ragamalika combines". After 5 seconds, the image freezes.

Technique: Cel animation combined with live-action.

Audio: A very fast and repetitive medley of bells and drums as the dancer reappears in live-action.

Availability: Only seen on Onde Raktha.
