Background

Prince Motion Picture Co. (太子電影事業有限公司) was a Taiwanese film production company.

Logo (August 26, 1978)

Visuals: On an orange background, five brown circles pop up and slide in, arranging themselves horizontally. The circles zoom out as five brown triangles appear and also zoom out, placing themselves beneath the circles, forming a crown. The abstract letter "R" appears zooming out, furling like a ribbon, and placing itself beneath the crown. Multicolored squares zoom out towards the crowned "R", forming a brown frame around it with a white interior. "太子" to the left side of the emblem and "電影" to the right side then "flips" up. "PRINCE MOTION PICTURE CO." then zooms out underneath. Sparkling stars then appear in the background for a few seconds, with the brightest one being on top of the crown. The stars then disappear.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: "Contact" by Johnny Pearson, followed by "Fanfare (1)" by Neil Richardson, all from the KPM library.

Availability: This logo is seen on Immortal Warriors.
