Background

Neue Filmverleih was a West German film distribution company based in Munich.

Logo (July 20, 1956-September 24, 1959)

Visuals: Against a spiraling sunburst background in an olive color, containing an orange circle at the center, one of the following happens:

  • Ober Zahlen: A white rounded square outline is shown at the center, containing the white letters "NF" inside of the outline. Below is the following set of text:
NEUE FILMVERLEIH
GESELLSCHAFT.M.B.H.------ZEIGT
  • 13 kleine Esel und der Sonnenhof: The background doesn't animate. At the top left of the outlined square is the text "IM", and below is the following text:
Neue Filmverleih
GESELLSCHAFT M.B.H.
  • Traumrevue: The outline and letters zoom in, and the text fades in. The result is the same as the Ober Zahlen variation.

Variants:

  • There exists an in-credit variant where the logo is superimposed against the film's opening scene.
    • On Eine Reise Ins Glück, the logo is in a golden texture and the text is aligned to the center where we also see "MUNCHEN" shown between the company name and "ZEIGT."

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the film, or none.

Availability: The logo can be seen in Ober Zahlen, 13 kleine Esel und der Sonnenhof, and Traumrevue. The in-credit variant was seen in Eine Reise Ins Glück and Pulverschnee nach Übersee.
