Background

P.T. Matari Film was an Indonesian film production company headed by Sjuman Djaya. It later merged with Artis Jaya Film, forming Matari-Artis Jaya Film.

1st Logo (1974)

Visuals: On an orange background, a white circle (representing the sun) with a line curved upwards cut into it is seen. Below is "MATARI FILM", with "LAMBANG FILM² TELADAN" underneath it, both in white.

Technique: A still, painted graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: This logo is seen on Si Mamad.

2nd Logo (1974)

Visuals: The logo opens with a shot of the sun setting at the sea. The camera slowly zooms in towards the sun. The scene then fades into an orange background with the emblem from before, along with "matari film" in white lettering below it. Underneath is "lambang film teladan".

Technique: Camera-controlled animation and fading effects.

Audio: A triumphant fanfare.
