Background

Khemara Films (ខេមរាភាពយន្ត) was a Cambodian film company, presumably active in the 1980s-1990s.

Logo (1991)

Visuals: From a yellow background, a iris transition occurs into a green background dotted with stars, and a map of Cambodia zooms in. A golden palace can be seen on the map. The background fades into solid blue as the map zooms in. Yellow-red arched Khmer text fades in above the map, followed by the company name in Khmer and in a three-dimensional glittery blue font wiping in to the sides of the map; "ខេមរា" on the left side and "ភាពយន្ត" on the right side. A filmstrip banner with "KHEMARA FILMS" inscribed pops up below the map.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A majestic horn fanfare.

Availability: Seen on Pleang vong veng mek (ភ្លៀងវង្វេងមេឃ)
