Background

Columbia TriStar Warner Filmes de Portugal Ltda. was a Portuguese film distributor and a joint-venture between Columbia TriStar Film Distributors International and Warner Bros. It was established in 1972 and went defunct on March 31, 2014.

Logo (2000s?-2010s)

Visuals: On a white background, the Columbia TriStar "Boxes" logo is seen on the left-hand side of the screen, with "COLUMBIA TRISTAR" above it and "FILM DISTRIBUTORS" below it as well as "INTERNATIONAL" beneath, all in a blue spaced-out Arial font. On the right hand side of the screen, there is a box containing the Warner Bros. Pictures logo in its 1984 incarnation, with "A TIME WARNER ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY" below it in a blue Times New Roman font. Underneath both logos, there is "Columbia TriStar Warner" in a white Optima Bold font within a blue rectangle, with "FILMES DE PORTUGAL LIMITADA" in a blue spaced-out ITC Avant Garde font.

Trivia: This logo retains the Time Warner Entertainment byline all the way into the 2010s, despite it being retired anywhere else in 2001.

Variants: On Shoot Me, the logo is in black-and-white and is presented over a black background.
