Background

Tai Lien Film Co., Ltd. was a Taiwanese film company founded in 1955 and ceased production in 1978.

1st Logo (August 28, 1963)


Visuals: On a seashore background, there is an emblem consisting of a white circle outline with the white characters "台聯" inside it. Below are the white characters "台聯影業公司" written right-to-left. Big waves form in the backdrop.

Technique: Live action.

Audio: A dramatic trumpet fanfare.

Availability: Seen in Opium War.

2nd Logo (November 16, 1968)


Visuals: On a black background is the emblem from before in red within a yellow ellipse. The chinese characters "台聯影業有限公司" is above written right-to-left, and below is the text "TAI LIEN FILM CO., LTD.". The gold text turns blue, with the Chinese text turning blue first.

Technique: A fading effect for the text turning blue.

Audio: A dramatic orchestral tune, which is actually part of the Franz von Suppé piece "The Poet and Peasant Overture".

Availability: Seen in Moolien Saves his Mother.
