Background

Mido Pictures ((주)미도영화사 / (株)美都映画社) was a South Korean film production company.

1st Logo (1992)

Visuals: On a yellow background, a blue square with an "m" cut out off it zooms in. "MIDO PICTURES" is seen below the square. The square and text then zooms out, followed by "(주)미도영화사 제작배급" in blue wiping in from top to bottom ("제작" is stacked on top of "배급"). "제1호 작품" also in blue wipes in from left to right below.

Technique: Camera-controlled animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen only on the trailer for Man Upstairs, Woman Downstairs. The film itself uses the next logo.

2nd Logo (May 2, 1992)

Visuals: A wooden smiling mask is seen over a black background. Below is the "m" symbol from before without the square and in yellow, with "MIDO PICTURES" below it. To the right of it is the yellow Hanja text "(株)美都映画社 製作配給" ("製作" is stacked on top of "配給"). Then, "製作1號作品" in white wipes in underneath from left to right.
