Background

Dokuritsu Eiga Co., Ltd. (独立映画株式会社) was a Japanese independent film production and distribution company.

1st Logo (195?-April 10, 1955?)

Visuals: The camera rapidly zooms into the three-dimensional letters "独立" over a textured background to a close-up. Afterwards, "独立映画株式会社配給" in white fades in below.

Technique: Camera-controlled animation.

Availability: Seen on Kyoudai (姉妹)

2nd Logo (1955?-19??)

Visuals: On a dark background, an emblem is seen consisting of the slanted letters "独立" with a slanted frame around it and a star embedded within the top frame. The logo is seemingly made out of glass. A light then illuminates the logo. A filmstrip is also revealed below the logo, which has "独立映画株式会社" in white inscribed over it.
