MP Agency

Background

The Marketing and Publicity (MP) Agency is one of the first independent film production studios formed in 1990 on the eve of the dissolution of Yugoslavia.

Logo (August 16, 1991-July 15, 1995)

Visuals: A dodger blue diamond flash appears at the middle on a black background. As soon as the flash became nearly transparent, the abstract silver letters "Mp", featuring a trademark symbol at the bottom right corner and a spark on top of the third line of the letters, along with the set of text below the letters:

appears from the center and rapidly zooms in towards the camera, separated by a thick silver line. The letters and the set of text later stops when fully visible, and another much bigger dodger blue diamond flash appears behind the letters and the text and remains still, which causes the text "P R E S E N T S" to appear below the silver line. The logo remains still for the last seven seconds.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A stock dramatic synth note (also used in the 2nd logo of Castle Home Video), accompanied by the sound of a gong, a held bass note and a twinkling sound when the diamond flashes appear. This is followed by a somewhat dramatic orchestral fanfare containing a cymbal noise.
