Background
The Fizz Factor was the Austin development branch of Amaze Entertainment founded in 2002, but in 2005, Amaze decided to retire it. In July 2008, Amaze's parent company Foundation 9 Entertainment announced that The Fizz Factor would be relaunched under its original name. Then, in July 2009, F9E announced that development capacity would be scaled down and so The Fizz Factor was closed for good.
1st Logo (May 28-31, 2002)
Visuals: On an orange background, many aerated water bubbles come up and clear its space to white, where the Fizz Factor logo (consists of five orange aerated bubbles with "THEFIZZ" and "FACTOR" between them with "Game Studio" below) hangs. The Amaze byline fades in.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Aerated sounds followed by a cartoon-styled theme.
Availability: Can be seen on Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron for PC and Game Boy Advance.
2nd Logo (November 11, 2003-June 28, 2004)
Visuals: On an orange background, many aerated bubbles come up. Then the Fizz Factor logo appears in the middle.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: The sounds of bubbles.
Availability: Can be found on The Hobbit and Spider-Man 2 for the PC.
3rd Logo (December 2, 2008-October 20, 2009)
Visuals: There's the Fizz Factor logo on a white background, but with various changes: the letters are thicker, "THE" is omitted, and the Foundation 9 Entertainment byline is seen below.
Variant: There is a black background version used on Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian for DS.
Technique: A still graphic.
Audio: None.
Availability: Can be found on Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and The Tale of Despereaux for DS.
