Background
Codemasters Racing was the racing video game division of Codemasters established in 2012 from the assets of the previously acquired Sega Racing Studio. The division was discontinued in 2015.
Logo (September 18, 2012-July 21, 2015)
Visuals: Over a black background, there's the Codemasters "cm" logo in white. The red lines appear from the bottom-left corner and spin around the logo several times. During this, the lens flare can be seen behind the logo. Later, the lines move to the right, causing a red parallelogram being formed with a white vertical line and the white stacked words "CODEMASTERS raCInG" with the "r" and "a" being connected, slides in from the right, with a small registered trademark at "CODEMASTERS". The parallelogram then shines. The camera zooms out for the entire duration.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A synth note, followed by a car vrooming sound.
Availability: It was seen on Codemasters racing games branded under the label: F1 2012-15, F1 Race Stars, GRID 2 and GRID Autosport.
