Background

Blizzard North was the development division of Blizzard Entertainment that was founded in 1993 as "Condor, Inc." It was best known for the Genesis version of Justice League: Task Force and the Game Boy and Game Gear versions of the NFL Quarterback Club series. In 1996, it was acquired by Blizzard Entertainment and was renamed to its then-current name. By that time, it was best known for the Diablo series. In 2005, Blizzard closed the studio.
