Background
Telegael is a Irish animation company based in Gallway. It was founded in 1988. The company didn't have an on-screen logo until 2001. Its multi-Emmy and IFTA award winning studio works with international producers, distributors and broadcasters to develop, finance and co-produce animation and live-action content for the global market.
1st Logo (January 1, 2001-2011)
![](/w/thumb.php?f=Telegael.jpg&width=350)
Logo: In a blue room, there is a black screen with a blue rectangle outline in it as well as a whirlpool shape, created with red, green, and blue spirals. There is also the green text "TELEGAEL" below it. It glows for a second before dying down In the foreground, a microphone hops away from a button impressed into the floor (looking like it hopped onto it to reveal the logo) before tilting its "head" up straight.
Variants:
- An in-credit version has the logo seen without the screen.
- Later on, the print logo was changed to include the microphone and the screen, showing the logo at an angle. There are several different styles for this as well.
- Sometimes, the print logo could share the screen with other logos.
FX/SFX: The screen glowing, the microphone moving.
Music/Sounds: The closing theme to the show.
Availability: Rare. The animated logo is seen in full on Horrible Histories (2001), season 1 of ToddWorld and in the corner on later episodes of Pet Alien. The print logo is seen on shows, such as Maryoku Yummy, season 2 of ToddWorld, The DaVincibles, Growing Up Creepie, Super Sportlets, seasons 1 and 2 of Dive Olly Dive!, season 1 of Hero: 108, season 1 of Chloe's Closet, and The Twisted Whiskers Show. The in-credit logo without the screen, though, was only seen on Monster Hotel and Cosmic Quantum Ray.
Editor's Note: None.
2nd Logo (2011- )
![](/w/thumb.php?f=Telegael.jpeg&width=300)
Logo: On a white background, there is a large mass of green circles, all in various sizes and placements. To the right of it is "telegael".
Variants:
- Sometimes, it shares the screen with other logos.
- An in-credit version exists.
- An animated version of the logo has been spotted on Speed Racer: The Next Generation. On a black background, the green mass of circles is already there. "tele" cuts in with "gael" next to it faded, then briefly cutting to "gael", and then cutting to the logo formed.
- A different animated logo exists on Kulipari: An Army of Frogs and Kulipari: DreamWalker, where the logo engraves from the dust.
- Another animated logo was seen on their recent showreels. On a black background, a green spot of light forms a huge mass of circles from before. Then, the text "telegael" appears, thus forming the logo.
FX/SFX: None. For the animated variant, the cutting and the name forming.
Music/Sounds: The closing theme.
Availability: Current. Seen on their shows from made between 2011 and the present day, such as Llama Llama, Rainbow Rangers, season 2 of Chloe's Closet, season 2 of Hero: 108, My Phone Genie (TV series), Captain Flynn and the Pirate Dinosaurs, Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch, Teenage Fairytale Dropouts, Lexi & Lottie: Trusty Twin Detectives, among others. The animated variant was spotted on Season 2 of Speed Racer: The Next Generation after a screen honoring a crew member. A differently animated logo was seen on Kulipari: An Army of Frogs and Kulipari: DreamWalker. Yet another differently animated logo is currently seen on their recent showreels. Also seen on Wild Grinders and at the end of their movies such as Binky Bill the Movie and Norm of the North.
