Background

Screenwave Media is a multi-channel network founded in 2011 by Ryan Schott. One of Screenwave's most notable clients include the Angry Video Game Nerd, who they took on following the demise of GameTrailers and ScrewAttack.

1st Logo (2018)

Logo: We see a white bar wipe in, leaving behind a blue background. Three white wave-like figures spin in from the right of the screen before settling in the middle. A white line draws in from the bottom middle and separates into two copies, forming the word "screenwavemedia" as the lines disappear. A TV shut-off effect then occurs.

FX/SFX: The wipe, the waves and the lines, along with the shut-off effect.

Music/Sounds: An echoed synth theme, ending with a distorted note.

Availability: Seen on most episodes of Angry Video Game Nerd. This doesn't show up on YouTube's prints of AVGN episodes, rather home media releases. It was seen on Amazon Prime's prints of most AVGN episodes, such as the "Earthbound" and "Dirty Harry" episodes.

Editor's Note: Screenwave, needless to say, is reviled amongst AVGN fans, and are often considered a key factor behind the decline of the show and Cinemassacre at large. Aside from that, the logo has a very corporate, almost soulless look and feel.
