NewKidCo

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

1st Logo (October 16, 1998-April 23, 2004)

Logo: On a white background, we zoom out to reveal a black frame with yellow outline. The colored letters of name then start to fall from above and take their places inside. The dot above i is drawn. The announcer proceeds and logo fades.

Variants: There was a black background still version, mainly on N64 games.

Technique: Computer animation.

Music/Sounds: Wheezing sound (which sounds like a reversed laser zap) of frame shortening, then bumping sounds of letters. The female announcer says: "NewKidCo - next generation games for next generation kids!". On the fading, a single whizzing is heard.

Availability: Spread over PS1 games for kids, notably the Sesame Street games and Hello Kitty's Cube Frenzy, but can also be found on some games the company published for other platforms (like Tom and Jerry: War of the Whiskers).

2nd Logo (December 13, 2002-March 14, 2003)

Logo: On a black oval shield, the letter design from previous logos is seen with a little perspective effect. The letters are in 3D and have shadows.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen only on Dora the Explorer: The Search for Pirate Pig's Treasure and Tom and Jerry in Infurnal Escape for Game Boy Advance.
