Background

Founded in February 11, 1933 as Tekhfilm and in 1936 as Lentekhfilm, Lennauchfilm was a educational and documentary film studio based in St. Petersburg, Russia. It produces educational and documentary films of the Soviet Union which is compared to Centre of National Film. It was closed and defunct in 2015 and currently archived those titles on net-film.ru.

(Mid 1966?-2011)

Logo: On a dark space background when we see a moon in the center, we see a brass lamp with fire that makes into a torch. Below on the torch is "ЛЕННАУЧФИЛЬМ" in Russian, and in yellow.

Variants:

  • The early variant has the company name in a different font.
  • On В барабан не бью без толку, the logo is smaller.
  • A boxed variant exists on Географическая Оболочка.

Technique: Live action.

Music/Sounds: None or the opening theme.

Availability: Was very rare on 1968 to 1978 version but common on 1976 to 2003 version which can be watch on net-film.ru. Seen on all titles of Lennauchfilm from this period. One of its last appearances were on Структура вакуума and В барабан не бью без толку.
