Background

Founded in February 11, 1933 as Tekhfilm and in 1936 as Lentekhfilm, Lennauchfilm (shortened for Leningradskaya Studiya Nauchno-populyarnykh i Kinofilmov) was a educational and documentary film studio based in St. Petersburg, Russia. It produces educational and documentary films of the Soviet Union which is compared to Centre of National Film. It was closed and defunct in 2015 and currently archived those titles on net-film.ru.

Logo (Mid 1966?-2011)

Visuals: On a dark space background where we see a moon in the center, there is a brass lamp with fire that makes it into a torch. Below the torch is "ЛЕННАУЧФИЛЬМ" in Russian, and in yellow.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, the logo would be in monochrome colors.
  • The early variant used until 1978 has the company name in a different font.
  • On В барабан не бью без толку, the logo is smaller.
  • Boxed variants exist on Географическая Оболочка and ДЕНЬ СОВЕТСКОЙ ШКОЛЫ.
    • On От Москвы до самых до окраин and Взрыв конструирует молекулы, the background is colored blue.
