Background
Multivision Plus is an Indonesian television production company. Set up in 1990 by Raam Punjabi as the television arm of Parkit Films, Multivision Plus popularized the "sinetron" (electronic cinema) concept of soap operas with its "stripping" system (every episode is filmed everyday). Later in 2004, MVP would set up a new feature film division called MVP Pictures, succeeding the original Parkit Films which closed in 1994.
