Background

Zodiak USA was originally an American branch of RDF Television, called RDF USA. It was taken over and renamed by Zodiak in 2010. It was folded into Banijay Studios North America afterwards in 2016.

RDF USA

Logo (2000s-2010)

Visuals: Same as the 2007 RDF Television logo, but "usa" replaces "television".

Variants:

  • Sometimes, it's still.
  • Sometimes, the word reads "media usa" instead.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the 2007 RDF logo.

Availability: Appeared on the earliest episodes of Hardcore Pawn and both the original Fox and syndicated versions of Don't Forget the Lyrics! when it was last seen on GMC (now Up).

Zodiak USA

Logo (2010-2016)

Visuals: Similar to the Zodiak logo, but the "USA" word appears right, in the same color as the DeAgostini eclipse sign.

Technique: Simple 2D computer animation by Jamie Campbell.

Audio: Same as the Zodiak logo.

Availability: Can be seen on later seasons of Hardcore Pawn and other RDF USA shows.
