Background

Vysoká škola múzických umení v Bratislave (VŠMU), established in 1949, is a public university in Bratislava, Slovakia, specializing in performing arts. It comprises three faculties: Theatre, Music and Dance, and Film and Television, offering undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. VŠMU is equipped with modern theatres, concert halls, studios, and a comprehensive library. The Academy collaborates internationally, participating in exchange programs and EU initiatives, and has produced many notable alumni in the arts.
