1st (known) Warning (1980s?-1990s)

Warning: On a black background, the following warning text scrolls up:

WARNING
Duplication, reproduction, distribution, or exhibition of the material in this videotape is strictly prohibited without prior written approval and permission from the
VIDEOGRAM REGULATORY BOARD
in accordance with the law & its implementing rules and regulations.
Violators are subject to severe civil and criminal persecution, including permanent revocation of license and regulation with the Board.

2nd Warning (1990s-2000s)

Warning: Same as the previous warning, but the background is a dark grey textured one resembling analog television noise, all text is in a slimmer font, the word "videotape" is replaced with "video compact disc", the word "WARNING" is white with a red-purple outline, the "VIDEOGRAM REGULATORY BOARD" text is light yellow with a black outline, and the rest of the text is white with a black outline.

FX/SFX: Same as the previous warning.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on VCDs of films distributed by Viva Video during this time period.

3rd Warning (1990s-2000s)

Warning: On a black background, the word "WARNING" is seen in a red font. Below it is the following warning text, in white:

The screen then cuts to the second part of the warning text, while retaining the heading:
