Background

Video Latinoamerica S.A. was founded on March 24, 1986, and it was the representative for Vestron Video International and Lightning Video International. Video Latinoamericano released low-budget movies from the era, but the economic crisis decided that they would sell out the rights to Vestron and Lightning's titles to Video Omega S.A., and it was shut down in the late 1980s.

Logo (1986-Late 1980s)

Visuals: There is the text "VIDEO LATINOAMERICANO s.a." in a futuristic font zooming in superimposed from the center of the screen. Over it is a montage of the black planet that the Earth is drawn with a light blue outline that flashes and red stars coming, then it cuts to an outline of South America with colored sparkles. The screen then cuts to an orange floor of blue circles moving towards the direction. Then it cuts back to the outline of South America that shimmers blue. Then it cuts to a diamond with several dot outlines and moves and flips as the word "PRESENTA" zooms in.

Variant: Before the previews, the screen cuts to the same diamond as the black word "PROXIMOS ESTRENOS" with the same diamond that flips then the text disappearing.

Technique: 2D animation for the text and CGI for the montage.

Audio: A heroic theme that sounds like the Thunderbirds theme.
