Amsterdam Zoetrope [COMPLETE]


(September 28, 2015)

Logo: For a split-second, we see a box with large text saying "PICTURE START". It then cuts to a stop-motion clip of a panther running, with timestamps and grids on it. The picture zooms out, as "AMSTERDAM" appears above as it shakes. This is followed by "ZOETROPE" in the same fashion. After a while, the text fades out, followed by the box a second later.

Technique: Stop-motion for the box and 2D animation for the rest.

Music/Sounds: First, we hear some filmreel sounds. Then, a dreamy synth theme with strings and flute-like sounds play, fading out at the end.

Availability: Only seen on Kristen.

Logo: As we slowly fade in, we zoom into an place that has a woman holding stuff in her hands, in the middle of a gold-tinted tree area with a light at the end. Suddenly, the scene cuts to black, as the company's name in gold fades in with a slight flicker.

GWave Productions is a production company founded on May 19, 2004, known for its productions with Disney. It is located on the studio's lot in Burbank, California.

Logo: On a dark blue background, an electric shock appears from the left side of the screen. As it quickly forms into several synth waves moving slowly, a glowing blue rounded rectangle opens up. Inside, it draws "GWAVE" in a futuristic-like font, with "PRODUCTIONS" in small spaced-out lettering wiping in below.

Variant: A shortened version exists.

Music/Sounds: A futuristic synth sound.

This is Rocco DeVilliers' production company.

Logo: We see black-and-white footage of waves crashing over some rocks at a beach. After a while, the picture freezes and zooms out in a box with a white border, as the company name fades in below.

Music/Sounds: Just the sound of wind blowing, coupled with waves crashing.

Background

This is the production company of Steve Stark (who would later form Toluca Pictures with Stacey Levin).

Logo: Over a shot of sand, we see the text "STARK" written on it with a starfish in the A's place. The shot then encloses in a grainy filtered rectangle with "STEVE" and "PRODUCTIONS" surrounding the image respectively, both serif and in spaced-out letters.
