Background

UVI Video Productions (Universal Video Imports) was a American-Italian video distribution company based in Yonkers, New York. It was active through 1985 to 1999.

Logo (1988-1999?)

Visuals: On a pink background with orange & black circles, the UVI Video Productions logo (a yellow & white square with a green rounded square and the words "UVI VIDEO PRODUCTIONS" in it) appears via a flipping effect. Then the logo disappears via the same effect; and the word "PRESENTA" fades in and out.

Technique: Possibly computer animation or scanimate.

Audio: An excerpt of Sting of the Serpent by Ray Davies.

Availability: Can be found on Italian-American Public Domain VHS tapes from the time, such as Guardie E Ladri.
