Background

Tubi is a film and television content streaming website founded on April 1, 2014. In April 2020, the service was acquired by Fox Corporation. Original content started being produced for the service in 2021.

1st Logo (June 18, 2021-)

Visuals: On a rising pink background, the Tubi logo is seen forming, and a white rectangle with a curved corner and the word "ORIGINALS" on it slides out.

Variant: Sometimes, the logo can appear close-up.

Technique: 2D computer animation by Trailer Park.

Audio: A couple of synth ambient sounds or the opening theme.

Availability: Seen on all original shows and movies on Tubi beginning with A Chance for Christmas, and including Obsessed to Death and The Ex-Obsession (both preserve this when aired on LMN).

2nd Logo (August 12, 2022-)

Visuals: On a background similar from before, only more detailed, the logo from before is seen, as it animates like the previous logo but in reverse, and the background erases out to black.

Variants:

  • The logo sometimes animates in reverse, in which the background is opened at the beginning.
  • On a few TMZ specials, the logo transitions from the Harvey Levin Productions logo.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: Same as before, but in warp speed.

Availability: It debuted on Shark Side of the Moon, and later appeared on TMZ: No BS.

3rd Logo (March 8, 2024-)

Visuals: On a blue violet gradient background, a yellow hole, with light faintly emerging from it, pops in while facing the left, releasing a small yellow ball to the left. The ball slides to the right and passes through the hole, inverting the background's colors and direction the hole is facing, in addition to increasing the latter's size. After the ball slides back into the hole, the background reverts to its original gradient, now in a vertical direction, and "tubi original", the latter of which is in white, wipes in and slides to the left.

Trivia: This logo is a nod to the "Tubi rabbit hole", which was first introduced in the 2023 Super Bowl campaign.

Technique: Flash animation by DixonBaxi.

Audio: A melodic female chorus singing "Tu... bi... Tubi!", composed by Zelig Sound. Otherwise, none.

Availability: The logo made its debut on American prints of Boarders.
