Bumper: Just the 1986-87 Touchstone Home Video logo animation without any changes.

Trivia: This ID was relegated exclusively to Touchstone VHS releases, never appearing on Disney or Buena Vista VHS tapes from the time period.

FX/SFX: Same as the 1986-87 Touchstone Home Video logo.

Music/Sounds: The 1986 Touchstone Home Video logo fanfare, accompanied by Brian Cummings, the same announcer as the previous ID, saying one of the following:

Down and Out in Beverly Hills home video preview: "And now, here's a look at the Touchstone Home Video smash-comedy hit...” followed by stated movie title. This voiceover variant uses the undistorted version of the logo's music, and is seen only on the 1986 VHS release of Off Beat.
Off Beat home video preview: "From Touchstone Home Video, their special preview of the hit feature starring Judge Reinhold and Meg Tilly...” again followed by stated movie title. This voiceover variant uses the distorted version of the logo's music, and is seen only on the 1986 VHS release of Down and Out in Beverly Hills.
Ruthless People home video preview: “And don’t forget these other hit titles from Touchstone Home Video.” The Ruthless People trailer's theme is played instead of the logo's music. This voiceover variant is seen on the 1987 VHS releases of Outrageous Fortune, Tin Men and Ernest Goes to Camp.
The Color of Money home video preview: “And now, for one of the year’s top films...” once again followed by the movie title. The Color of Money trailer's theme is played instead of the logo's music. This voiceover variant is seen only on the 1987 VHS release of Tin Men.

Availability: Rare; it premiered on the original 1986 VHS tapes of Down and Out in Beverly Hills and Off Beat, following the Video Dealer Announcement. It later appeared on the 1987 VHS releases of Outrageous Fortune, Tin Men and Ernest Goes to Camp.

Legacy: This American/Canadian Disney ID is noteworthy for containing numerous voiceover variants and being one of Brian Cummings' first forays into announcing bumpers, trailers, and promotions for Disney, along with their video dealer announcement screen from the era, the “Feature Presentation” variant of the previous ID, the second trailer for the 1984 reissue of Pete’s Dragon (1977), and the British/Irish home video trailers for I-Man and One Magic Christmas.

2nd Bumper (October 19, 1990-1991)

Bumper: Just the 1989-2001 Touchstone Home Video logo animating.

Variant: A short version exists, starting at the point where the light flashes over the text.

FX/SFX: Same as the 1989-2001 Touchstone Home Video logo.

Music/Sounds: The 1986 Touchstone Home Video logo fanfare, with Brian Cummings saying, "Now you can own these hit titles from Touchstone Home Video!"

Music/Sounds Variants:

On the 1990 VHS release of Stakeout, Brian Cummings says, "Now you can own this hit title from Touchstone Home Video!"
On the short version, Brian Cummings says, "Coming from Touchstone Home Video." and there's no music at all.

Availability: Rare; it was seen only on certain Touchstone Home Video VHS reissues from 1990 under Touchstone's sell-thru promotion such as the VHS reissues of Cocktail and Splash, which were printed into the late 90s. The short version is seen on the 1991 VHS releases of Arachnophobia, Taking Care of Business and the demo tapes of White Fang and Green Card.

3rd Bumper (1991-1992)

Bumper: Same as the 1989 Touchstone Home Video logo, but the golden yellow words "NOW YOU CAN OWN YOUR FAVORITE HIT MOVIES..." are typed in above the logo. This bumper is seen before a promo for all of Touchstone Home Video's VHS reissues available through sell-thru.

Variants:

On the 1991 VHS releases of Lantern Hill and Looking for Miracles, the variant of the 1986 logo where "presents" fades in below the logo is used, starting as the spark appears on screen. The bumper crossfades to the home video trailer for Looking for Miracles (Lantern Hill) or Lantern Hill (Looking for Miracles).
On the 1992 VHS releases of So Dear to My Heart and The Rescuers, the logo is seen already formed and shines a few times.

FX/SFX: The animation of the Touchstone Home Video logo, plus the typing in.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 1989 Touchstone Home Video logo.

Availability: Rare. Appears only on North American VHS re-releases of Touchstone films from 1991-92 released under Touchstone's sell-thru promotion, which were also printed into the late 90s. It also appears on the 1992 reissues of Arachnophobia, V.I. Warshawski, and The Marrying Man from Hollywood Pictures Home Video.

United Kingdom

=1st Bumper (1986–1993)

Bumper: Same as the 1986-87 Touchstone Home Video logo, but the words "COMING SOON FROM" are seen above the logo.

Variants:

On rental tapes announcing retail releases, "LOOK OUT FOR THESE OTHER MOVIES FROM" would be in place of the "COMING SOON FROM" text.
On some early tapes, "COMING SOON FROM" fades out as the lightning appears on the circle.
On the 1993 UK and Irish retail VHS releases of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, "ALSO AVAILABLE" replaces "COMING SOON."
An extremely rare variant has no text at all above the logo. This variant also appears as a de-facto home video logo.

FX/SFX: Same as the 1986-1987 Touchstone Home Video logo.

Music/Sounds: Same as the Touchstone Home Video logo from the time.

Music/Sounds Variant: The third variant features a male announcer saying, "Now you can own these great hits from Touchstone Home Video!" before the audio segues into the first trailer, or there isn't any music at all.

Availability: Seen on the rental and retail editions of most Touchstone VHS tapes of the time from the UK and Ireland, as well as various Disney and Hollywood Pictures UK and Irish rental VHS releases of the time, such as Betsy's Wedding, Run, Stakeout, Cocktail, Blaze, White Fang, The Rocketeer (1991), The Doctor, What About Bob?, and The Hand Rocks the Cradle. The early variant appears on the rental VHS releases of Good Morning Vietnam, Stella, and D.O.A., while the announcer variant appears on the rental VHS release of Pretty Woman and at the end of that of Turner & Hooch (despite there being no notice on the tape itself about more previews after the film). Although this bumper mostly appears on rental releases, some retail releases contain it as well.

=2nd Bumper (1986–1993)

Bumper: Same as the 1987 Touchstone Home Video logo, but the words, "COMING SOON FROM" or "ALSO AVAILABLE FROM" in an orange Times font may fade in above the logo.

FX/SFX: The animation of the Touchstone Home Video logo and the fading in of the text.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 1987 Touchstone Home Video logo, except it is a higher pitch, likely due to the conversion to PAL.

Availability: Rare. Seen on the 1993 UK and Irish rental VHS releases of Sister Act and The Distinguished Gentleman, as well as the 1995 UK and Irish retail VHS releases of Cool Runnings.
