1st Logo (1987)

Logo: On a black background, we see the figure of the next logo, without any effects. Underneath is "OPTIMUM PRODUCTIONS" in cyan like the rest of the logo.

FX/SFX: Nothing, it's a still logo.

Music/Sounds: Michael Jackson singing.

Availability: Was seen on the Bad short film from 1987. It was just recently uploaded to MJ's Vevo channel.

2nd Logo (October 29, 1988- )

Logo: On a black background, we see the legs of Michael Jackson walking across a stage slowly as a spotlight follows his every move. He is clad in his iconic outfit from his "Billie Jean" stage performance. We later see sparkles shine on his white socks and start to flow down as Michael walks and later stands still. The sparkles later flow up to his legs and follow his moves as Michael starts dancing. He then stands on his toes while bending his knees as the sparkles turn the image into a stylized 2D design, forming lines from his paints and shoes as the sparkles flow down from the lines all in a light blue or white color. The name "MICHAEL JACKSON" later fades-in below.

On the documentary Michael Jackson: The Legend Continues, the still logo in a white background with the name "OPTIMUM PRODUCTIONS" in red lettering.
On Michael Jackson's Ghosts, we see a white background. Then, the logo (in black) fades-in. Below the logo is "AN OPTIMUM PRODUCTIONS FILM".
On Michael Jackson's This Is It, the name "THE MICHAEL JACKSON COMPANY, LLC" fades-in below.
On Michael Jackson: The Experience, the name "TRIUMPH INTERNATIONAL, INC." fades-in below. The logo has full animation except for the DS version, where it's black and white and still.
On the trailer for Michael Jackson: The Experience, the "TRIUMPH INTERNATIONAL, INC." logo is black and on a white background.
On Bad 25, the name "OPTIMUM PRODUCTIONS" appears below, in the same font as the 1988 "MICHAEL JACKSON" version.

FX/SFX: The sparkles flowing and Michael walking and dancing.

Music/Sounds:

October 29, 1988: The sound of footsteps as Michael walks across the stage. We later hear the sound of sparkles as he stands still and as Michael starts to dance, followed by an electric guitar chord and audience cheering.
October 28, 2009, November 23, 2010-: The sound of an audience cheering as Michael walks across the stage as we hear sparkling sounds. Michael chuckles and we hear whipping sounds as he dances, and he later shouts "WHOOOO!", as he stands on his toes.
