{{Guidance}} is a content warning template.

The banner is based on the guidance banner on a BBC News video about sexist language, and it should be easier to recognise than the Parental Advisory label, which is US- and UK-centric.

{{NSFW}} will redirect here when the rollout is complete.

Usage

Content Syntax Output
Flashing images {{Guidance|reason=flashing}}
Graphic content {{Guidance|reason=graphic}}
Jump scares {{Guidance|reason=jumpscare}}
Sexual content {{Guidance|reason=sexual}}

Logos with controversial content (such as Minstrel Entertainments) do not require this template, but they should be contextualised, preferably in the lead. For example, the minstrel show used to be popular until the mid-20th century.
