Telewizja Katowice

1st ID (December 3, 1957-2009, 2016-)

Visuals: Over a cloudy background is what appears to be a wheel on a tower. Next to it is the black text "TELEWIZJA KATOWICE" with an aerial.

Variant: A black-and-white variant was used until 1978.

Technique: A still illustration.

Audio: A music box-like theme, with the beginning sounding like "Nanny Nanny Boo Boo".

Availability: Seen during program pauses until 2009 in TVP2, and on TVP3 since 2016.

Tele 3 Katowice

2nd ID (1993-1998)

Visuals: On a dark cyan-black gradient background, a rod of light move downwards from the top of the screen to form a cyan-coloured outline of Poland. Four pink squares appear on the bottom of the map, marking the cities of Katowice, Częstochowa, Bielsko-Biała and Opole in the Silesian and Opole Voivodeships seperately, with the names of said cities next to each square. The text and markers zoom in as each pink square is hit by beams of light, causing them to make a cube. Once the cube is focused into view, a cutout shape of an abstract number 3 morphs into the cube as the cube turns purple, and light shines on the cutout, filling the shape with a pink 3 and also showing the pink text "TELE". As the camera rotates, cyan text saying "KATOWICE" also juts out from the cube, forming the logo of the station. A light then finally shines over the logo, brightening it up.

Technique: 3D computer graphics.

Audio: A futuristic sounding techno synth theme.

Availability: Seen on airings on Channel 3 in Katowice during the 1990s.
